In July 1999, we joined other Hydrofoil list members in Alberta, Canada & caught a few shots of Jon "Airborne" Wilborn's flying DoubleD, a double gainer dismount in excess of 25' of air!

World Record

In April of 1999, the Air Junky crew set out to break the record for the most riders behind one boat. In this video we have 9 riders up behind a 1999 Mastercraft X-Star. 

Riders include Jake Kinnison (mid-flight), Blaine Sholinder, Bill Kinnison, Ian Lauder, Andy Long, Teresa Wilborn, Kevin Thayer, Ken Bernard, & Jon Wilborn.

We hook up with Teresa & Jon Wilborn once in a while just to ride & enjoy some good times on the water. In March of 1999 Teresa started landing her first wake backrolls. In this run on Sammamish, she landed three rolls. These days she lands them all day long.

1998 Flight Hydrofoil Worlds

Air Junky helped sponsor the king of all hydrofoil events in 1998. These videos feature all the riders who won their class. 
 
Air Santa

The annual Air Santa run has gotten bigger and bigger every year. Christmas of 1998 was no exception with two boats full of riders we set out to capture the attention of the news crews near the Lake Washington floating bridge, a 10 lane freeway across the lake.
