We planned this
trip for almost a year, paying the rental on a 52' houseboat last Christmas.
Our original intention was to attend the Air Chair Worlds & the Fly-In,
scheduled for consecutive weekends in September but canceled at the last
minute. Having already payed for the trip, planned extensively on it, &
taken vacations from our jobs, we decided to go to Lake Havasu in Arizona
anyway. Looking back, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! We had a blast, riding
every single day in the scenic, balmy waters & enjoying the sun &
hot weather. We missed the events but made the best of a local INT event,
taking 4 out of the top 5 places in the event. All right, all right, there
were only 5 competitors, but hey, we outnumbered the locals! Later in the
trip, we went to Mike Mack's Arizona Shores Ski Resort & rode with
the best riders in the world, Mike Murphy, Tony & Shonna Klarich &
Jon Wilborn. These guys ROCK, getting more air than I ever dream of getting,
throwing front flips, front rolls, huge back flips, massive back rolls,
helicopters (with a handle pass!) & skidders the entire length of the
river!! If you ever get a chance to go visit these guys, DO IT!! Mack
offers lessons & is one of the best teachers ever. So, hope you enjoy
